Aster 2026 Spring Expo Recap

Aster believes that access to health information and resources is critical for our older adult community. This March, more than 800 participants came out to do exactly that at our Spring Expos.

The 2026 Spring Healthy Living Expos — held March 20 at the Mesa Downtown Senior Center and March 27 at the Red Mountain Senior Center — were our most successful yet. Together, the two events brought a record number of older adults and their families face-to-face with 63 local organizations dedicated to supporting healthy aging in all its dimensions.

Connecting Community in a Familiar Place

Aster's Senior Centers are already places where older adults gather, learn, and build relationships. The Spring Healthy Living Expos build on that foundation — bringing local businesses and organizations into the spaces our participants know best, so that meaningful conversations about health, planning, and daily life can happen naturally.

This year's 63 exhibitors represented a wide range of community resources: primary and specialty medical care, dental and vision services, health insurance and benefits enrollment, home care and caregiver support, senior living and placement services, financial and legal planning, fitness and rehabilitation, end-of-life planning, clinical research opportunities, community programming, and local government resources.

Thank You to Our Presenting Sponsors

Events like these are made possible through the generosity of partners who share our commitment to empowering older adults across the East Valley.

Optum Health is a leading health care organization serving older adults throughout Arizona, operating community centers across the Phoenix metro area where adults 55 and older can access free wellness classes, fitness programming, and health resources close to home.

Trulieve is a cannabis company with dispensary locations throughout Arizona. At both Expo sites this year, Trulieve brought a physician on-site to lead informed conversations about the health and wellness applications of cannabis — giving attendees a direct opportunity to ask questions and learn from a medical professional in a comfortable, familiar setting.

SRP — Salt River Project has been a cornerstone of the East Valley for generations. Their support of community events like the Spring Healthy Living Expos reflects a longstanding investment in the neighborhoods and people they serve.
