THANK YOU, HOLIDAY HELPERS!
Through the generous support of our community, over 600 seniors received gifts! The holidays were brighter this year for older adult participants in all of Aster’s programs – including Meals on Wheels, Neighbors, Home Care, Social Services, and Senior Centers. For our most isolated participants, being remembered by caring community members was even more important, as this may have been the only gift they received.
Employee groups from Dignity Health, McCarthy Building, SRP, and Sundt Construction held very successful gift drives. Parishioners of St. Timothy Catholic Church, a long-time supporter, generously provided cases of gift items and snacks. School and employee groups created cards and placemats. Rotary Clubs and the Mesa Chamber of Commerce not only participated in the gift drive, but also helped serve holiday luncheons at Aster’s senior centers.
