Building Confidence with Technology
Technology is woven into nearly every part of daily life, from staying in touch with family to managing appointments and accessing important information. For many older adults, however, navigating devices and online platforms can feel overwhelming.
To help bridge that gap, Aster is launching a brand new monthly series: Aster Tech Together.
This ongoing program is designed to create a supportive, welcoming environment where participants can build practical technology skills at a comfortable pace. Each session will focus on a specific topic, breaking it down into clear, manageable steps and allowing time for questions.
March Session: Understanding Email
Our first session will take place on March 3 from 9:30 to 10:30 am and will focus on one of the most essential digital tools: email.
During this workshop, participants will learn:
How email works
How to create a personal email account
How to send and receive messages
How to organize and navigate an inbox
Basic tips for staying safe online
Whether you are brand new to email or simply want to feel more confident using it, this session will provide practical guidance in a supportive group setting.
Aster Tech Together is about more than technology. It is about empowerment, connection, and ensuring that everyone has the tools they need to stay informed and engaged in today’s world.
