Join Us for Father’s Day 2025 at Aster

Father’s Day is a time to honor the men who shaped our lives—fathers, grandfathers, and all the guiding father figures who helped us become who we are today.

Whether we’re celebrating with them in person or cherishing their memory, this holiday invites us to reflect on formative experiences, shared wisdom, and lasting love.

A Look Back: The History of Father’s Day

The first Father’s Day was celebrated in 1910 in Spokane, Washington. Though observed informally for many years, it wasn’t until 1966 that President Lyndon B. Johnson issued the first official presidential proclamation recognizing the day. Since then, Father’s Day has become a global occasion marked by family gatherings, gratitude, and remembrance.

Honoring Fathers in the Aster Community

Our Aster community includes fathers, grandfathers, and even great-grandfathers—individuals whose legacies span generations. We are proud to celebrate them.

Join us for our Father’s Day 2025 celebrations, held at both Aster Senior Centers. We invite you to honor the remarkable men in your life and share in the festivities with our community.
