Aster invites community members to contribute meaningfully to the well-being of older adults in the East Valley by participating in our Neighbors volunteer program.
Volunteers play a vital role in supporting senior neighbors by offering transportation to essential destinations such as medical appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies. These acts of service not only promote independence and dignity for seniors but also foster stronger, more connected communities.
To introduce prospective volunteers to our mission and operations, Aster's Neighbors Program will host an Open House designed to provide detailed information about volunteer roles, requirements, and the impact of this work. The event will offer an opportunity to meet Aster staff, connect with current volunteers, and explore ways to get involved.
