Free Summer Movies at Aster’s Senior Centers: Classic Laughs, Big Adventures, and Timeless Stories
Looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon this summer? Aster’s Senior Centers are bringing classic Hollywood favorites, heartwarming dramas, musical comedies, and unforgettable adventures to the big screen with our weekly FREE Movie Matinees.
Every showing begins at 12:30 p.m., and free popcorn is included.
Movies are shown on Thursdays at the Downtown Senior Center and Tuesdays at the Red Mountain Senior Center. Seating is limited, so be sure to RSVP online, by phone, email, or in person to reserve your spot.

June 5: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954)
One of the most beloved movie musicals of all time, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers combines memorable songs, dazzling dance numbers, and plenty of comedy. Set in the Oregon frontier of the 1850s, the story follows Milly, a strong-willed young woman who marries rugged woodsman Adam Pontipee only to discover he lives with six uncivilized younger brothers.
Determined to teach the brothers some manners, Milly takes on the challenge of transforming the rowdy household. Along the way, romance blossoms, misunderstandings abound, and the brothers set out to find sweethearts of their own. June 12: Beach Party (1963)
Travel back to the sunny California coast with the movie that launched an entire genre of beach comedies. Starring Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello, Beach Party captures the carefree spirit of the early 1960s with music, romance, surfing, and plenty of laughs.
When a quirky anthropologist decides to study a group of beach-going teenagers as though they were an undiscovered tribe, chaos quickly follows. June 19: Clambake (1967)
